Call the show
The rundown you call from is the same record the deck, the shop and the producer are reading. When it changes it changes for all of them at once, which is the difference between a change and a rumour.

Build the rundown first.
Blocks and segments, with the department named on every cue, so whoever has to do the thing can find their own line.
Take the check-ins.
Crew mark themselves ready from their phone and it lands on the board you are calling from. You stop asking the room whether audio is up.
Arm, then go.
Standby arms the cue and warns the room. A separate GO is what puts it on air — two actions, because one action is how a cue goes early.
Change it while it runs.
Insert, hold or reorder mid-show. The change is the live document rather than a note somebody promises to pass on.
Keep an eye on the alerts.
Ranked, on the dashboard, while the room is live — a double-booked hand or a truck that has not moved, before it reaches the floor.
